CircoLoco Partners With Rockstar Games For New Dance Label Featuring an Elite Group of Artists

“Cir­coLo­co” is essen­tial­ly a hal­lowed term in the world of dance music, with the Mon­day night par­ty birthed out of Ibiza’s tech­no mec­ca DC-10 gain­ing influ­ence and pres­tige dur­ing its more than 20 year run.

But now, you don’t have to actu­al­ly go to Cir­coLo­co in order to actu­al­ly hear the sounds of Cir­coLo­co. (Which is espe­cial­ly use­ful as the club is cur­rent­ly still closed due to COVID-19.)

Cir­coLo­co and Rock­stars Games announced a col­lab­o­ra­tive label, Cir­coLo­co Records, on Mon­day (May 24). The imprint’s first release will be a com­pi­la­tion album, due July 9, fea­tur­ing new tracks by the who’s who of the dance world under­ground, includ­ing long­stand­ing DC-10 res­i­dent Seth Trox­ler, Moody­mann, Sama’ Abdul­ha­di, Dami­an Lazarus, DJ Ten­nis, Red Axes, Jamie Jones, Bedouin and more.

“Cir­coLo­co has always been about the pas­sion for find­ing the best music, sup­port­ing artists and bring­ing them to the peo­ple in the purest way pos­si­ble,” Cir­coLo­co Founder Anto­nio Car­bonaro says in a state­ment. ​“Cir­coLo­co Records is a nat­ur­al next step for us, giv­ing us a chance to bring the music we love to peo­ple everywhere.”

Cir­coLo­co Records’ first release — Troxler’s hyp­not­ic ​“Lumartes (Extend­ed)” — is out now. Lis­ten to the track below. Fol­low­ing this release will be the Mon­day Dreamin’ Blue EP, which will drop June 4 and be fol­lowed by anoth­er EP com­ing every week in the lead up to the full project.
